I love President Trump and I believe him to be the best President of my lifetime exceeding that of even President Reagan
I listened to a portion of the live speech today from PA, and after 5 minutes of his speech, I had to shut it down. It was the most fake speech I’ve ever heard him give. He certainly didn’t have his usual demeanor, and seemed to force himself to read it.
So I turned away feeling embarrassed for him. I don’t think that’s the speech he really wanted to give, but he wasn’t in a position to say anything else at the moment. He did what he did out of kindness, but I sensed his heart wasn’t in the words. Purely specutive of course, but I trust my instincts, and the evedence along with what I saw and heard live that day.
I thought just the opposite, and Rush reported that the speech has been getting good reviews. I thought it was very heartfelt - Trump was just being somber, which could be mistaken for detached if you’re used to the tone he uses in the rallies.

I was..and no way did I or the thousands there feel disrespect for the POTUS...
HE SPOKE AND PEOPLE PAID ATTENTION, EVEN IN THE COLD, WET, CLOUDY SKIES. and the LOVE for this great Man was felt by all...
As he and the FLOTUS left the Memorial Site, Marine One, flew low over the crowd who was waving, and shaking their MAGA hats...that mountain side was trembling again...for the POTUS...HE IS LOVED...Do not believe or trust the media and the na-slayers...
I have to agree with you. I turned off after 5 minutes also, first time I have ever done that with President Trump speaking.
Speech totally off. Yes, like he was forcing himself to read words he knew were wrong. ?????
He didn’t appear to be ill or tired.
