We could save a lot of time and money by dispensing with the hearings and just proceeding to the vote; but that would eliminate the theater of the absurd that the pols so love.
Senator Warner is a Communist, all Communists will vote against Kavanaugh. The real problem will arise if the Communists take control either or both Houses of Congress.

I don’t see how anyone can be a Dem and vote “yes”. Kavanaugh thinks the Constitution places limits on government power/authority. That is antithetical to everything the Democratic party stands for. And the entire strategy of the Dems for over a decade is to take over the court and rule the world with 6 people (president + court). Kavanaugh will set that plan back decades so they need to do everything possible to stop it even if they need a miracle in addition to their efforts.
Even if Kavanaugh is going to be confirmed, a Dem cannot vote “yes” (or should not remain in the party). A Dem voting “yes” is pure pandering because they are not in a Dem district but want to be reelected.
Warner is easily predictable. Nobody expected him to vote YES on Kavanaugh.
He is a puppet, and no leader, and has his thinking and decisions made by somebody else.
Did his Russian Handler direct him to do so?
