Auburn, ME – Eric Brakey issued a response to Angus King following comments made this morning in Lewiston by the Senator comparing Russian hackers to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
“I am appalled that Angus King, on today of all days, compared the brutal terrorist attacks of 9/11 and the murder of over 3,000 innocent Americans to Russian computer hackers. The two things are simply incomparable, and reflect the deranged thinking of Angus and his liberal allies.
“Sen. King’s crass statements are an insult to the victims, their families and our first responders. King should retract his statement immediately and apologize for his shameful remark.”
A hundred years from now, folks will still be chatting on the Russian conspiracy theory.

He’s in KINO..king in name only.

He gets elected because of name recognition. King ran for governor in 1990 as an Independent, beating newcomer Susan Collins and perennial dem candidate Joe Brennan.
He won re-election in 1994.
The Republicans ran some guy against him in 2010 who wanted to “reach across the aisle.” The dems ran a moonbat woman state senator. It’s no wonder King wins....he always has half-assed competition.
State senator Eric Brakey is a young guy who successfully introduced and pushed through Constitutional Carry in Maine.
He is challenging King this time but it’s an uphill battle.
The local evening news here didn’t even mention Angus King’s stupid comment regarding 9/11.
