“Article. IV. Section. 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion . . .”

“Article II. Section. 2. “The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States . . .”

This is not an option; it is a constitutional obligation. President Donald Trump, in his role as Commander in Chief, has both the authority and the responsibility to protect each state against invasion. He should call out the military to fulfill that unmet responsibility. Whether the armed forces patrol the border and vector Border Patrol into position, or build solid barriers and/or triple strand concertina wire barriers, or both, the President needs to shut down illegal crossings completely.

What about visa overstays and illegals who are already here? Deport them all. No exceptions. If we get the intake numbers down, we’ll be able to catch up on the backlog.

The first defense is a State. A state has every right to engage in War to prevent invasion. Texas and the rest have chosen not to carry out their functions.
