Yes, I'm sure he got along with Poppy and Billy Jeff just fine.

Poppy Bush was a (mostly) loyal ally as VP under Reagan.
But during his own administration, he accomplished mainly four things.
Two good:
- Giving us Justice Clarence Thomas.
- Kicking Saddam Insane out of Kuwait (but failing to go on to Baghdad to finish the job).
Two bad:
- Raising taxes.
- Ushering in eight years of Bill Clinton.

You guys have anybody without loose eyebrows? We like our PMs to have eye brows that are firmly attached.

Former PM says he had an easier time dealing with the U.S. than Trudeau's had
Yeah, I really do not want a president who foreign leaders consider easy to deal with. I want a president who works for me, not for Canada or any other foreign nation.

I tell you, if you want to see a contrast between a civilized, modest, thoughtful, generous leadership and what you’re seeing today, there you go.”
Hey Brian, heres a fricking clue for you.
We did see it.
And we rejected it. So suck on that.
Love,

"George Bush was fantastic and still is," Mulroney told an audience in Ottawa. "I tell you, if you want to see a contrast between a civilized, modest, WEAK, PATHETIC, MILQUETOAST, thoughtful, generous leadership and what you're seeing today, there you go."

I met Brian when he was out walking his dog in Westmount a very rich part of Montreal and he looked like the loneliest Canadian on the planet. This was right after the PC got shellacked by the Liberals and were reduced to only two MP’s in Parliament as a result of draconian spending caps to reign in the deficit that was bankrupting the country coupled with the introduction of the dreaded GST sales tax. I said to him at the time that you did the right thing for Canada even if it cost you dearly politically but history will be kind to you. He thanked me for the kind words and went about his business. I always like Mulroney but he let’s face it, NAFTA was an f’en good deal for Canada at the time. But the soft lumber file was one he could not get done under NAFTA or any other succeeding administration in Canada. In the end Mulroney’s drastic deficit reduction paved the way for a balancing of the books under Harper.

Bush Sr. Was not civilized, he raised taxes, which is an intolerable act.

Canada needs to create a Republic,
discard their failed Democracy,
and Canada needs to quit blaming Trump for their cowardice to change.
The USA cannot prop up Canada any longer. Man up.

Yes the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) has worked out well for the “leadership”.
The citizens, not so much.
