New Details: On Tuesday, some Americans remembered a lesser-known ‘9/11’ anniversary — the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which left four Americans dead including our ambassador, Christopher Stevens.
Tuesday night, former Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, went on Sean Hannity’s program to provide new details about the night after the attack, which came in two waves and lasted some 13 hours.
What he told Hannity about the way President Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton treated the U.S. security contractor heroes who tried to defend American soil that night should enrage everyone who hears the story.

Stories like this literally make me sick to my stomach. I fear we will never know the depths of depravity of O and H, and their minions. I pray daily for God’s protection upon PDJT and our country. We are still in perilous times.
While I do not doubt Congressman Chaffetz, these men were private contractors. The President cannot fire them, only their company can. Unless they were hired by the Gov, there is more to this story.

You do know that there were many people working for the government at the security compound, right? The physical security was provided by private means such as Tonto and his buddies.

If they would have died like they were supposed to in the Attack we planned, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. It is their own fault for daring to fight back and then actually surviving the event.

Of course I do. The story implies that those that provided physical security were the ones fired. The Gov employees were from the Intelligence Community, not security personnel, except for Ambassador Stevens’ personal security.

You are quite wrong. If they were under contract - a very large contract, no doubt - to the US government and the president or secretary of state told their employer (a government contractor) to get rid of them, they’re gone. Given their backgrounds, however, it’s very likely that Paronto and his associates were individual contractors to the CIA, which makes it much easier to get rid of them.
The supposed “full and open”, squeaky clean government acquisition process represented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFAR is a total myth. But that’s another subject...
Exactly. Those guys had to have clearances from the government to work in that business. Without those clearances, they are no longer able to work in that business.
