Likely because the people never realized or ignored and denied the taking over the nation governments by the global systems. They are masters at hiding their agendas behind smoke screens and false masks. ......until their cover is being exposed or threats this could be so....then the sparks fly.
The amount of money, and the power it welds, into International leaders pockets on the International stage is beyond striking. Often ‘unelected’ entities operating both legal and otherwise.
When people see that they’re being milked and they’re loosing their freedoms it still takes quite a lot of time before they ‘turn’.....and that always takes a man of the hour to do so.
You are so right. I wish I had awoken to the “masks” earlier. But boy howdy now I have and it is my wish others do also. Many Europeans are waking up now too hence the rise of “right-wing” “nationalist” parties across the continent. People better wake up soon.
