A subreddit devoted to QAnon, a conspiracy theory that's captivated far-right social media, has been banned by Reddit.
On Wednesday, the company banned r/greatawakening for "repeated violations of the terms of our content policy," a Reddit representative said.

Q has claimed on multiple occasions that North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un is a puppet ruler installed by the Central Intelligence Agency. If you believe that then you are nuts. I despise anyone who dishes out dirt or information anonymously and that includes the so-called disgruntled senior Trump aide who made the news last week. Show me hard evidence. You can’t. You just embarrass yourselves and make the rest of us look like conspiracy freaks which doesn’t help conservatism at all. There is a real war going on and the deep state is destroying our country and we must take it seriously. The evidence of that is as clear as the nose on your face. Conservatism does not need freaks like you to stop this sedition dead in its tracks; it only hinders my quest to educate everyone I know that our vote this November is probably the most critical vote in our nation’s history.

Personally, I think this Q-Anon stuff is all just bullshit for the everything is a conspiracy weak minded. That said, censorship is a very dangerous path that should not be trodded down.

While I share your sentiment on this Q-Anon bullshit I don't share your solution. Always refute those whom we disagree with using the same free speech we want for ourselves.

I was quick to post, didn’t read the article and didn’t even realize it was about censorship and for that, I apologize. I was just happy to see someone call that fake out. Q has every right to say whatever he wants just like Maxine Waters can spew venom out of her mouth. I just logged in to FR for the 1st time in about 2 years and this is actually a test post as I had my posting ability suspended by JR for supporting Ted Cruz over Trump. I decided to not login anymore because my posts were put under review before being posted. That is why this is a test. I was subscribed to r/GreatAwakening on Reddit and I just disabled my account there. I follow the Q posts just for fun and entertainment and I do support the cause. Censorship is evil.
Ignore Q to your own diminishment. At some point, you will come begging Q followers to explain everything to you.

Thanks, TSL! Just FYI, my posts are still being put under review for some reason as my last one was. Maybe FR moderators could stop censoring me, having been here 10 years now and 3 years as a lurker before that. Heck, I voted for Trump and I may even start donating again ;-) I can’t even use Freepmail here because it says I am too new. Huh?
