This article from Australia demonstrates the absurdity of our policy in Syria. Who is Nicky Haley to tell these people what to do in their sovereign county while the mccain backed rebels trap people from running. President Trump needs to live up to his promise and GET OUT OF SYRIA!!

The “freedom fighters” that Obama and McCain supported, funded, and armed.

Standard practice for our ally “ rebels”
Hold civilians as hostages and human shields
Display the bodies as victims of war attacks and staged CW operations and accuse Assad and the Russians of atrocities while getting the US and UN to demand ceasefires for humanitarian reasons

Oh Silver leaf, Thank you. I thought we had lost the patriots here. Syria is not our business. Why would we resist the killing of Sunni Wahhabi sect Isis ( Al Qaeda)? Can you make something up? They killed 3000 Americans on our soil? What is going on here?

Its commonly accepted among all parties that Obama, the CIA, McCain, and thus the US Military, have been backing Al Qaeda in Syria.

The Syrians and Russians ( Russian Reconciliation Center) seem to be using an effective strategy of splitting up the opposition militias and trying to negotiate terms with their leaders. The ones in Idlib now were the holdouts who chose to evacuate under Assad and Russian terms rather than integrate with Syrian or tribal authorities in Aleppo and other liberated areas of Syria. So the hard core.

AQ is reaching a decision point. Agree to cooperate with the FSA under Turkish control ( presumably moving into Turkey) or stand up to Russia and Syria and die in battle. It seems Putin is giving Erdogan time to recruit these militants into his pet rebel ranks ( and presumably under US support)
and opening corridors to get civilians out before launching full attack on the city. Although the militants will be killing civilians who try to fee.

IS on the other hand fights a different strategy. Non negotiations. Many foreign fighters, no mercy from Russia or Assad. Embeds with civilian hostages. Will be bloody to dig them out but the place has been chosen and Russia will choose the time.

So tell me why we are even threatening involvement the first time someone - anyone- pops a chlorine canister?

Your analyses is the best I have seen here by far. I simply catch what I can online but you are far more in depth than I am. If you listened to NEO CON rino haley you heard a new threat. this is a quote of her reported herehttps://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1016278/Syria-crisis-nikki-haley-assad-russia-iran-airstrikes-idlib-province-attack-US-trump-news
The quote is “ Speaking at the UN Security Council meeting on the crisis in Syria, Mrs Haley said the “world has seen a clear military escalation” from Assad and his allies, whose militaries have conducted over 100 airstrikes in the Syrian province of Idlib.

She told the Council: “If Assad, Russia and Iran continue down the path they are on, the consequences will be dire.”

You get the goal post moved? They know they are exposed on the “Chlorine” lie as they were three times before. Now it is an intolerance for the government of Syria to take back its sovereign territory from ISIS / Al Qaeda!!. This is “Bolton 101” Neocon madness gone absolutely berserk. Am I missing something? Can anyone explain our desire to fight for Isis and Al Qaeda.
Let me reiterate my previous point a few days ago because it is so important here. Just last June, in concert with the government of Iraq we bombed and facilitated street to street , house to house fighting in the city and suburban villages on MOSUL Iraq to kill ISIS ans Al Qaeda bastards embedded in the Sunni population THERE in Mosul with an exposed civilian population of over 1 million. The result was a wonderful slaughter of Isis but thousand of civilians died. WE WE INVITED THERE!! We did the job. The exact number of civilians is estimated to have been 4,000 to 10,000 including children. “War is hell and you cannot refine it”. NOW, what is all this righteous indignation about Idlib? It is beyond belief hypocritical to a point of knee slapping belly laugh.
