Because Democrats and other liberals live under another legal system. Its like an alternate universe.
Because they're deep state heroes and the deep state still controls the DOJ/FBI and many of the other "intel" agencies and Congress (and much of the judiciary). They all have dirt on each other which assures their silence. They're still betting they can beat, or at least wait out Trump and continue to do business as usual.
