Former National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers on Tuesday disputed a report published in May 2017 alleging that President Donald Trump asked him to push back against the FBIs collusion investigation.
Ive never had a discussion with collusion with the president of the United States, Rogers said at an event held at George Mason University, according to CBS News.
Ive never been directed to do anything, coerced any time I had a discussion I felt I was able to say, Hey, heres my view on that.' (RELATED: Director Of National Intelligence Says He Cant Comment On Report That Trump Asked Him To Deny Russia Collusion)
The Washington Post reported May 22, 2017, that Trump separately asked Rogers and Dan Coates, the director of the office of national intelligence, to push back against the FBIs investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

I agree strongly. The Rogers meeting would seem to be the impetus for the move...but that quick is breathtaking. On its face it seems to be the reason however.
Fake news?
Or lying intelligence chief?
Hard to say, but I’d take even odds on fake news.
I think you are limiting the range of the bad guys. There seem to be a lot of "uni-party" involved.
He was busy running two security agencies. #uck the MSM’s demands and manipulations.
Rogers is a good man.
The MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.
It was bound to come out on its own, but he is making sure that it’s revealed before everyone. Dubya did it, too, but he just had good instincts. Trump is a master at evoking derangement syndrome. They can’t help themselves. They just gotta go nuts, because he pushes their buttons.

I am suspicious of many/most of the so-called White Hats - but I think Mike Rogers comes closest to being the real deal.
It is interesting that it was the Admiral in Seven Days in May who refused to place his bet for the coming coup d’etat.
Yes....Priestap might have flipped to our side. There’s still a lot of holes in this plot that have yet to be filled.
Where the HELAL has he been??? He is a HERO...afaik.
The Fourth Estate is the FIFTH COLUMN!!
I’d be willing to bet that you could prosecute about 10 - 12 people, put them in the clink, & the lying would dry up.

I agree, that is an interesting parallel you make.
My “White Hats” in this: Rep. Nunes, Rep. Jim Jordan, and a host of non-governmental ones in Dan Bongino, Jeff Carlson, Chuck Ross, Sarah Carter, Lee Smith, John Solomon, Byron York, Margo Cleveland, and the like.
The media should be ashamed of themselves. These non-governmental people I listed are doing yeoman work...honest and revealing, while the Media has decided to be ball-washers for the Left.
Shameful.

“When asked why he did not publicly rebut the story after it was published, Rogers said that if he spent time shooting down inaccurate media reports, Id never get anything done.”
