Life Liberty & Levin: Jon Voight 39:00 minutes
Mark Levin sits down with Actor Jon Voight on Life Liberty & Levin on Fox News Sunday to discuss Jon's life and friendship with Burt Reynolds, his father and family, as well as his transformation from liberal to conservative, and eventually become a Trump Supporter.
p
Jon Voigt trivia: his brother Chip Taylor is a songwriter who wrote Angel of the Morning and Wild Thing, among others.
Thanks! BFL
Great actor, great friend, great American!
I watched the interview last night. It is awesome! Jon Voight spins some interesting yarns. Levin hardly spoke a word - just let his guest carry the show. Hannity could learn something here.
bump
But Hannity was one of the main reasons Trump ascended from the pack back during the primaries. He gave him a place to speak, helped him, and then went entirely behind him early.
Levin, on the other hand, was an anti-Trump pill all the way until November 8. Levin did a horrible thing, no two ways about it, and he's never apologized.
I found it interesting that Voight saw it early, Hannity saw it early, and Levin, bless his heart, was a nevertrumper until November 9. And even then, he still would go make an ass of himself about Trump.
I am, as I pen this, 78 years old. I have been legally voting since I was eighteen in 1958. I also have watched literally hundreds and hundreds of interviews in my fortunate life...but....this Mark Levin masterpiece dialogue with Actor, Jon Voight was absolutely one of the best interviews, if not the best interview, I have ever watched and listened to in my entire life.
I urge every American citizen & voter to catch this thrilling patriotic, warm, experience from start to finish. Jon Voight was outstanding, engaging, brimming with reason and purpose from A-Z!!! Mr. Voight is truly An American man for all seasons..period!!!
I enjoyed the interview, too. I agree, it was most excellent!
You could vote at 18 in 1958?
.
100% agree! Loved the story of Voight asking his female conservative actor friend how she thought Trump was doing...
She just placed her hand on her heart and smiled. Voight teared up while recalling the moment. I teared up listening.
Yep!!!
This show was one of the best BECAUSE Levin hardly spoke!
Agreed...Period!
“I am, as I pen this, 78 years old. I have been legally voting since I was eighteen in 1958.”
No, you haven’t. What are you talking about??? I am also 78 and was also 18 in 1958. I could not vote in the presidential election of 1960 because I was not yet 21 - which was the voting age then.
I questioned that earlier and he said he could vote at 18.
Maybe states were different.
.
No, states were not different. Maybe he could vote for mayor or something in whatever state he was if they were different? I really don’t know so won’t presume. I just think it’s a false statement. Ask him “voted for WHAT”? I won’t bother.
I love Voight, great man, tremendous conservative and a true patriot.
Voight is 80 if you can believe it.
