DALLAS - Following the shooting death of Botham Jean by the hands of Dallas Police Officer Amber Guyger, multiple search warrants were executed at Jean’s apartment as part of the investigation.

One of the warrants became a public record Thursday afternoon when it was returned to the judge who signed it. It was shortly after Jean’s funeral had ended. It listed several items found in Jean's apartment, including a small amount of marijuana.

See 34...It’s routine in cases like this and must be done.

Peeeing in cups is mostly meant for lowly private sector workers like low paid Home Depot workers. For those in critical positions which can affect millions, entire cities or the entire country, like those in the Senate, Congress, mayors, city council members etc, they're not required to randomly pee in cups. Nor are cops and in most venues and most of the time they don't even test the people doing the testing!

So the entire random drug testing thing is total bull s**t targeting the lowly tax peons.

This is an awful incident and I shouldn’t make light of it, but damn if I’m not reminded of the Dan Aykroyd/Bill Murray “Ex Police” skits on SNL, that always ended with “Another marijuana related death.”

They’re protected by their unionized government positions and will only get tested after an accident/incident. In most all venues, cops don’t get randomly tested like low wage Joe and Jane tax payer are forced to do.

How long would it take a normal individual to realize that he-she is not in their own apartment?

There’s something suspicious about the whole thing.

I do not agree with pot use but this is ridiculous. It was in HIS HOME. His home was invaded by police officer, she gave him orders, then, when he did not comply, she murdered him in his home that she, the police officer, broke into. Murder.

It is my ignorant and unsupported theory that Botham played loud music. Maybe even rap music.

The officer lived one floor DIRECTLY below him. She probably asked him to turn it down several times over the past few months.

I think she got tired of it and decided to show him she meant business.

Yes, we need similar disclosure about the officer. Bet they didn’t search her apartment, car, or her. Not at least until days later.

I bet his employers fires him now. No, the police provided a community service to the employer by executing him in his own home.

This is completely out of line, what does this have to do with anything? He didn’t shoot anyone.

'The search warrant executed in Jean’s apartment at South Side Flats specifically sought fired cartridge casings, fired projectiles, firearms, ballistic vests, keys, evidence of blood, video surveillance systems, and contraband such as narcotics and other items used in criminal offenses.

The inventory return yielded:
2 fired cartridge casings
1 laptop computer
1 black backpack with police equipment and paperwork
1 insulated lunch box
1 black ballistic vest with "police" markings
10.4 grams of marijuana in ziplock bags
1 metal marijuana grinder
2 RFID keys
2 used packages of medical aid'

Odd list. Drugs could be from the cop.
