Very good news. Perhaps this is the sign of a new beginning for Middle Eastern Christians, after the genocide of the past decade.
You might want to note, there were 2 Christian Churches in Efrin before Turkey and their FSA (ISIS, al Qaeda (Nusra), al Sham, Sultan Murat Islamist Jihadi’s took over.
It was not just Kurds who were killed, kidnapped, raped, and tortured. Christians, Ezidi, Alevi and even some Arabs were.
Turkey again practiced the Great Evil of ethnic genocide in Efrin. And they still deny the Armenian Genocide.
The tolerance of the YPG/YPJ Kurds and the SDF liberators of multiple religions is widely known. One of their concepts in beginning local government is secular attitudes toward religion.
The number and membership of Christian Churches in Syria has been growing for years. (This comes directly from friends that I trust there.)
There were a higher number of Christian churches in Syria than most would admit, before ISIS. There are some ancient Aramaic speaking Churches still there.
