basically fake news....
President Trump strongly criticized Bob Woodward's new book, "Fear: Trump in the White House," as "a total fraud," "work of fiction" and "totally discredited." But Woodward said he drew from hundreds of hours of interviews for his book, which is published by Simon & Schuster, a division of CBS. The book depicts a chaotic White House with details from participants and witnesses to the Trump administration.
Asked whether he would release any of the interview tapes, Woodward told "CBS This Morning" on Thursday: "Well, if somebody really wants to challenge me, of course. Of course. But I again, I've made agreements with people that these sources are going to remain confidential."
Bob Woodward's "Fear" some top takeaways In the book, Woodward described a "nervous breakdown" in the administration. In an interview with "CBS This Morning" co-host Norah O'Donnell, FBI Director Christopher Wray told her he has "not seen a 'nervous breakdown' of executive power."
"I have also not read Mr. Woodward's book, and I'm not sure whether I'll ever find time," Wray added.
Woodward responded to Wray, saying, "His experience is limited with Trump." Wray was confirmed as FBI director in August 2017.
"I spent over a year on this. I have literally hundreds of hours of tapes with people who were there. If you've looked at the book, they're very specific incidents. And it is a kind of it opens the window," Woodward said.
Various Trump administration officials have come forward to deny certain accounts in the story, including White House Chief of Staff John Kelly and Defense Secretary James Mattis. Woodward addressed the various push-back he's getting.
"Look, going back to the Nixon case, any of these books you're going to have what I call this 'survival denial' by somebody who wants to be politically connected with the president. And that's fine," Woodward said. "But as the great editor of the Washington Post, Ben Bradlee said, the truth emerges. And it does. And I've done this time and time again where you get denials. Oh, 'Nixon and Kissinger did not pray on the eve of Nixon's resignation.'"

Honestly, the way he talks, his mother might have been impregnated by a duck
Unedited I assume?
I thought that he was strongly challenged by several White House staff. They have already called Woodward a liar. How much strongly challenged do you need to be a Bob you lying piece of crap.
Says the guy who was most likely involved with the 18 minute tape gap in Nixon’s tapes.
Yep. Woodward worked in the Nixon White House with Haig Before Watergate, he was GOP.
Splains his RINO Bush books.
tapes ... F-ing tapes ... everybody claims to have F-ing tapes, and yet no one ever releases them ... well, except Amarosa, but those tapes just show how great President Trump really is ...
I feel like I’m not on the same planet where I was born and raised and grew old, that’s for sure.
“Bob Woodward says he would release book interview tapes if strongly challenged”
Bob, I hereby strongly challenge you to release those tapes!
lol
“We still can not believe that folks were shedding tears on her loss to President Trump.”
The evil walk among us.
Would a double-dog dare work?
So is that gif of the shark. 😱
These tapes are people who are telling him about what someone else said, aren’t they?
You have to believe in hearsay, and second hand reports of conversations to find that he didn’t lie????
This guy is nuts!
Call his bluff.
Likely, he doesn’t have ‘many’ tapes, if any.
Woodward’s acting pretty cavalier about releasing recordings of his confidential sources. Wonder what the sources think about that, if they exist? Sort of talking himself into a corner. Strongly challenge!
That’s a gif of Omarosa. Or a close relative. Both are amoral, calculating, unfeeling apex predators that you can’t turn your back on. Unless you have a buddy watching your back wielding a spear gun.
If strongly challenged, hahaha!
I’d strongly challenge the truthfulness of the interviewees and strongly suggest he didn’t bother verifying any of what was (cough) said.
Ben Bradlee’s adherence to the “truth” only extended as far as his ego and leftist ideology.
The Wash. Post’s slogan should have been “All the slanted news that’s shit”.
I wouldve thought many of the key figures denying the quotes in his book would qualify.
