Scott was conspicuously absent from the DeSantis rally, and IIRC, DeSantis ran a campy TV ad aligning himself w/DJT which helped to propel him into a lead. If the poll you posted is accurate, the race is close because of Scott, not Trump.
Scott seems to deviate from DJT too often although I know he has Trump’s support.
