Kav getting the Clearance Thomas treatment.
The silver lining in that is that Thomas was confirmed... and has been a thorn in the side of the left ever since. I often wonder to what extent the Democrats' perfidy guaranteed Thomas' place on the right. We tend to think of CT as a conservative's conservative now, but I can remember in 1991 not that much was really known about him. He hadn't been a judge that long and there wasn't much of a paper trail. Would he go south on us the way that so many other GOP appointees had or would? By demonizing him, the left made CT an enemy and burned any potential bridges to him. BK was probably already destined to make a great conservative justice, but this outrageous attempt at character assassination by DiFi and company will likely not be forgotten by him anytime soon.
