[Breaking News] Kavanaugh Classmate Named in Letter Strongly Denies Allegations of Misconduct
Weekly Standard ^ | September 14, 2018 | John McCormick

Posted on 09/14/2018 2:15:40 PM PDT by sitetest

On Friday morning, The New Yorker's Jane Mayer and Ronan Farrow reported on a letter alleging possible sexual misconduct by Brett Kavanaugh while he was a high-school student. According to the New Yorker:

"The woman, who has asked not to be identified, first approached Democratic lawmakers in July, shortly after Trump nominated Kavanaugh. The allegation dates back to the early nineteen-eighties, when Kavanaugh was a high-school student at Georgetown Preparatory School, in Bethesda, Maryland, and the woman attended a nearby high school. In the letter, the woman alleged that, during an encounter at a party, Kavanaugh held her down, and that he attempted to force himself on her. She claimed in the letter that Kavanaugh and a classmate of his, both of whom had been drinking, turned up music that was playing in the room to conceal the sound of her protests, and that Kavanaugh covered her mouth with his hand. She was able to free herself. [...] In a statement, Kavanaugh said, “I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation. I did not do this back in high school or at any time.”

Kavanaugh’s classmate said of the woman’s allegation, “I have no recollection of that.”

The Kavanaugh classmate quoted in the New Yorker is Mark Judge, a writer in Washington, D.C. Judge spoke to THE WEEKLY STANDARD Friday afternoon, strongly denying that any such incident ever occurred. "It's just absolutely nuts. I never saw Brett act that way," Judge told TWS.

“In the 70s and 80s, young men weren’t permission-asking pussies yet...and the girls loved us for it.”

Not cool at all, real men don’t brag about date rape.
Real men defend their daughters and sisters from the thugs who try to assault them.

Key words being "Against their will."

But destroying a man's life -- up to the level of Supreme Court Justices -- by unfounded allegations, decades later, is just A-OK, because 'patriarchy'?

After Tawana Brawley, Anita Hill, the Duke Lacrosse stripper, and countless false accusations against college guys because of Omoeba's "Dear Colleague" letter, while Dems including Kennedy (waitress sandwich), Weinstein, Clinton, Keith Ellison, etc., are covered for, for decades...I no longer automatically believe accusations.

I have a relative (in-law) whose boss tried to cop a feel in the supply room at work. She kneed him in the balls, and as he writhed on the floir, told him in no uncertain terms that if he even *looked* at her again, she wouldn't call HR, but his *wife*. Problem solved!

Dear Free Republic:

I am a senior staffer working for Senator Diane Feinstein. I prefer to remain anonymous. But I want to leak to you the terrible truth about Judge Kavanaugh’s secret accuser. She is none other than the then-teenaged babysitter whom Judge Kavanaugh impregnated when he was eight years old. It was quite a scandal in Britain, where Judge Kavanaugh and his mother lived at the time, and where he was known as “Little Milton,” a very verile, underage poet. He forfeited his literary award for his epic poem Thick as a Brick, and to start over under a new name in the United States, his mother, who denied the sitter’s accusations, sold the rights to his poem and the scandalous story to avant garde rock star Jethro Tull, which he used for his iconic album Thick As A Brick. I am working within Diane Feinstein’s office to undermine her horrible representation of the interests of the state of California, her staff of foreign spies to whom she hands out tidbits of classified information for pay, in order to finance her reelection bids, and her luxurious lifestyle. Please end this reign of terror, and expose her destructive campaign against Judge Kavanaugh. He was only eight years old at the time, and shouldn’t be punished for his youthful indiscretions. He has since had a distinguished career in law. And besides, the sitter aborted the baby and lives in a trailer now, and Jethro Tull’s album is still “the bomb”.

Sincerely,
Anonymous Disgruntled Diane Feinstein Staffer

Little Milton was indeed a “verile” 8 year old!

Please tell Mr. deLeon that he ought to order drapes for his new Senate office because Ms. Feinstein must be senile to have revealed the name of a child abuse victim. She will be 86’ed toute de suite!

Love the comment from the guy who tried to drag a girl into a locker room. How does that fit in with FR values??

The problem with some men (not ALL men) is that they assume that they are just like every other man so that any wrongful action they take is mitigated because every other guy does it. But they don’t. In all my years of dating in high school, college and beyond, I never had a date drag me anywhere. Some were nice, some were boring, some were lovely if unattainable; all were gentlemen who knew right from wrong.

Real men have honor and do the right thing even when no one is looking.
Not always easy to define.
But easy to find examples of the opposite. Bill Clinton for example is a perfect example of a man without honor and morals.

Yup. Real men do not grab women and push them anywhere. I thought we all knew that, lol.

If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?

Thanks for that quote! He was an amazing man. Offputting as I recall but what a legacy he leaves as a writer and philosopher.

And perhaps somewhat applicable when we talk about teen-aged boys, or even young adult males not being “Real Men.”

She was locked in a room but escaped? These idiots forget that interior doors are almost always locked from the inside.

This is like Marina Oswald’s claim that she locked Lee Harvey in the bathroom to prevent him from venting his insane homicidal rage on Richard Nixon. He was just dying to shoot someone for no reason, you know.

There is no excuse for violence against women.
This includes grabbing and forcing any sexual act.

While I am strongly against the ongoing War on Men, when males act like throwbacks to the cave dwellers’ era that is not acceptable and not a solution.

By the way, I defend Kavanaugh as innocent, by the old fashioned ideal of “innocent unless proven guilty.” I’m old school.

I TOTALLY agree with you!

Here’s a super quick example of what u say: My part time housekeeper recently died of natural causes after 22 years of service.

A lady friend sent her current housekeeper over for an interview. It was very short. The woman was Hispanic, early forties but HOT! My lady friend swore by her.

After the lady left, I emailed my lady friend and said “as I’ve told you a million times, your bragging profession that “I don’t ever listen to “news” will someday be your undoing.

In todays world, men pretty much have to hire eunuchs to clean their house or just do it their selves. I’m looking at robots. Seriously. They’ve got some neat vacumn cleaners.

I agree with everything you have written.

I think most American men are decent, law-abiding, women-respecting members of a civil society. I’m surprised that on a conservative website, we have some men who have an outlaw view of women and society. I would hope the owner would be aware of it.
