Lindsey Graham Goes Nuclear: Exposes Corruption in Obama Administration, Demands Action

Senator backs Trump, saying 'it is becoming increasingly clear' former president operated a biased Justice Dept.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) defended President Donald Trump Tuesday on Twitter against critics who claimed he “politicized” the Department of Justice (DOJ) by pointing to his predecessor’s actual “politicization” of federal law enforcement.

“I completely support House Republican efforts to have President Trump declassify the FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] warrant applications, the Bruce Ohr/Chris Steele interactions, and all other relevant information regarding allegations of corruption in the DOJ & FBI,” Graham tweeted.

“It is increasingly clear it was the Obama Administration who politicized the DOJ/FBI, not the Trump Administration,” he added.

Graham’s first tweet included an article from The Daily Caller published Sunday, titled “Trump Reportedly Close to Declassifying Carter Page and Bruce Ohr Documents.”

The senator called in August for a special counsel to investigate Ohr, the DOJ’s controversial former associate deputy attorney general, and his role in the FBI’s investigation into allegations of collusion between Trump aides and Russian interests in the 2016 campaign.

Ohr’s wife, Nellie, was an employee of Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm used by 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign to obtain negative allegations against Trump from Russian sources, via former British spy Christopher Steele.

Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which she controlled as her party’s president nominee, paid for Steele’s compilation of the anti-Trump materials into what became known as the Steele dossier. The FBI used the dossier to justify its Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court application and renewals to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page and others.

“Bruce Ohr was at least unethical. We need a special counsel to look at all things Department of Justice and FBI when it came to the Trump investigation, particularly the counterintelligence investigation,” Graham said in mid-August during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

The president has long railed against the anti-Trump and pro-Clinton bias found within the DOJ and FBI and decried special counsel Robert Mueller’s “witch hunt” against him.

Many Democrats and liberal pundits accused Trump of politicizing the DOJ and FBI with his repeated criticisms against some of the controversial former and current top officials involved in the Trump campaign investigation.

Many Democrats and liberal pundits accused Trump of politicizing the DOJ and FBI with his repeated criticisms against some of the controversial former and current top officials involved in the Trump campaign investigation.

The FBI investigated Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign season for her use of a private email server located in her New York mansion to conduct official business as secretary of state. She was absolved by former FBI Director James Comey in July 2016, even though dozens of messages containing confidential information was found on the server.

In addition to Ohr and Steele, Trump, Graham and other Republicans point to the thousands of virulently anti-Trump and pro-Clinton text messages exchanged between former top FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and former FBI lawyer Lisa Page during their work on the Russia collusion probe.

Strzok participated in both the Clinton investigation and the Trump probe. But Mueller removed Strzok from the Russia probe after the text messages with Page became public.

Weathervanes, while limited in predictive capability, are still often informative.

Can you prove your accusation? No, I didn’t think so. Just another one who is no better than a democrat slinging lies at people you don’t like. Jerk.

Do you think the same of Trump’s tweets? You probably praise those, even most are just words or reactions. Always complaining, I guess.

Hey linda, why have you waited so long to begin yelling about something we've all known about and been disgusted about for a long time?

At least he's speaking out about the coup and defending the President. Maybe he's late, but how many other "Republican" congressmen are doing the same?

“All of your comments are true - but, come on, people! If he’s making noises like he’s actually on our side THAT’S A GOOD THING!”

There are a few people here with their noses out of joint and want, out of spite, for about three Republican senators to move to the democratic party. They can’t figure out that it would turn over the Senate to democrat control so they could seat leftist judges for the next thirty years.

Who the heck cares about Trump's tweets?

So far, he's a man of actions, unlike our deadbeat congress with their investigations.

Trump's tweets are mostly reactions to his detractors and attackers, such as Mueller and members of congress and the liberal media. Without those, Trump's tweets would likely not even be noticed or and he probably wouldn't even issue any.

How 'bout you??? Do you prefer to complain about tweets or do you prefer a person of actions???

Will he stamp his little foot and issue a strongly worded letter?
Sorry, Linda. Too little, too late.

Graham is either REALLY good or ABSOLUTELY horrid!! I’m glad he’s (lately) been pretty darn good & seems to be backing Trump more and more. I’ve always thought he expressed himself well ... it was just a matter of what he was expressing himself on. Since McNasty has been more or less out of the picture, Graham has been doing better. I still don’t trust him, but if he’s going to be “good”, that’s a good thing. I think he’s got it figured out which side his bread is buttered on ... Trump’s.

McCain dying must have taken the Gimp chain off Graham or something, very odd timing.

Just as I thought. A double standard. OK for one, but not for the other.

I can’t believe I’m in before anyone brought up Graham’s recent exchange with Kavanaugh re. Military Justice.

Q lays it out, now Linda (optically perfect) keeps adding echoes?

We are watching a wierd movie play out while the left trys to make Orwell’s 1984 seem like a naive understatement. (See Chelsea’s latest pronouncements about what is “unchristian”, or the hundreds of articles in lockstep about what an awful thing that “stupid” Q thing is.)

Enjoy the show, but do make sure the good guys have really won, once it seems like it’s over. (Or, like when our President says he might have to get involved? We too, have a say in the matter.)

A successful “limited hangout” spring cleaning of a few Derp State expendables will not make us free for very long. Trust, but verify.

It is easy to miss the “Great Lies”. Just make certain not to listen to or seriously research anything labeled a conspiracy theory. Once those coal mine canaries get driven out of earshot, a great lie is typically what you are left living in.

Vigilance remains a requirement until sometime after the 2nd Coming.

Is Graham up for reelection in November?

No, linda is in the class up in 2020. And, if the South Carolina legislature continues to sit on its ass and doesn't close the open primaries before then, linda is almost 100% assured if being reelected, and she knows it.

>>THAT’S A GOOD THING!<<

I agree. Not a big fan of Graham, but he appears to be aligning the correct way.

It is breath taking the level of corruption we are seeing this government. The propaganda media and the socialist/leftist are bringing up the rear.

Stunning no one has been held accountable even with all the evidence that is out there.
