Opposition to Kavanaugh devolves into farce
The Hill ^ | 9/14/2018 | J. Christian Adams

The surest sign that Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed to the Supreme Court is that opposition to his nomination has devolved into a farce. Even the deepest-pocketed dark-money source for the Republicans couldn’t have cooked up the plan deployed against Kavanaugh.

Opponents of Kavanaugh lost the fight when they lost their marbles. His foes on the Senate Judiciary Committee and allied activists ensured that opponents to the nomination appear to be a pack of wild cranks.

Mainstream Americans unfamiliar with the ways of Washington witnessed loud activists screaming over the gentle opening remarks of Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). Grassley’s shrieking foils were just the opening act; a long parade of howling disruptors followed, shouting slogans and accusations that were largely incoherent to the television audience.

It sounded as if the strategy to defeat Kavanaugh was to distribute committee gallery passes inside an asylum.

I hope the good judge remembers the character of liberals when he’s on the SCOTUS.

CNN is now alleging a man, who was once a woman, has come forward and apparently alleges Kavanaugh put the hit on her in between the isles of their 4th grade library.

And yet another woman has come forward according to CNN and is claiming Kavanaugh while in kindergarten, repeatedly pulled her floor mat close to his during nap time.

When their icon Yoda Ruth Ginsburg comes out favoring Kavanaugh's confirmation, you know the commies have lost.

#5: "Didn’t it start as a farce!?"

The real loser is Cory Booker who came away looking like a clown. He almost looks like Zippy. What a fool!

I feel sorry for the old hen Feinstein. She almost made it through relatively unscathed, until she played the "prom" card.

I think you are right. I know a few people, who generally aren’t as conservative as I am. But their comments about all of this, to paraphrase, they think the lunatic fringe has taken over the Democrat party. To paraphrase, they are afraid to vote for any Democrat due to their becoming so unhinged.

Feinstein sure looks foolish here.

I want to know why, if these are allegedly such serious allegations and all that, why did Feinstein sit on this letter until AFTER the hearings were over? If this is such a serious matter, which the MSNBC crowd assures us it is, then why didn’t the Democrats discuss it during the hearings?

What’s going on here? All the histrionics and Spartacus moments and handmaid protesters didn’t work, so at the end, they bring this out?

If sex harrassment and related issues are of paramount importance, then how could the Democrats decide to sit on this all this time????

I don’t want him doing that at all. I want him interpreting the Constitution. Period.

Remember when it was time to impeach Clinton and all the dirt was brought out on Republicans and they resigned. Someone needs to have the dirt on DIFI or Schumer when they start this nonsense and make them defend. Find something from when they were 17 or 22.

Really, I don't think Feinstein herself did this. I believe a desperate staffer did it on Feinstein's behalf out of panic. The dance was over, everyone was going home, and she hadn't been kissed.

DiFi did this for Home Consumption. She is shoring up the Loony Left support for her Senate race against De Leon, who is attacking her for being too far Right. She knows it's pure theatrics, but it's red meat for the "Handmaiden" set.
