Israel leaders stated they mistook the Liberty for an Egyptian HORSE HAULING SHIP, a ship almost ONE HALF the size of the Liberty.

But:

Almost none of the remaining shots of the Liberty show what was by far her most defining characteristic —a YUGE radar dish pointing directly skyward.

Those aren’t terribly unusual now, but at the time that was extreeeeeemely unusual, and this one was big even by today’s standards —the ship was a total FREAK.

It was completely IMPOSSIBLE to mistake her outline, to say nothing of the yuge flag she was flying at the time.

Her sinking, something probably pre-planned with deep connivance of the treacherous LBJ, was likely a plan to blame it all on Arabs and create the excuse to take over the whole middle east, with American aid.

Sort of a Gulf of Tonkin Incident, on steroids.

It was an intentional act of war on the country of the United States and like the saudi attack on 9/11 ,we averted our gaze because of politics in washington and they play on how stupid most people are.

No American ships were supposed to be in the area.
