I doubt very much if people listen in to Billy Maher to get schooled on Islam. I certainly wouldn’t nor will I.

Alexander Hamilton turned down Washington’s nomination to the Court. And was the expert on the Constitution.

He needed money too much after impoverishing himself in government service to take the position. Had he not been in the government he would have been a wealthy man appropriate for the best lawyer in the country.

John Marshall said his first approach to a case was to see what the Federalist Papers said about the subject. Hamilton wrote almost 2/3s of them.

Well leveraged buyouts by Bain Capital literally screwed over companies like Toys R Us with tons of debt, but I don’t feel like the media gave enough emphasis about that, and second, Toys R Us made the bad choice of selling control of their company to someone else as opposed to bankruptcy.

Well, they did sort of go after Romney on some of that stuff, but I really only remember the “he caused my wife to die of cancer” ad, but that was the Dems, not the press itself.

I don’t know if what Bain did with Toys R Us, or whatever companies was bad or good, or moral or immoral, but the media clearly didn’t find any blatant corruption or illegality or they would have shouted that from the rooftops.

I actually think coverage of complex business issues is too complicated for the nincompoops of our MSM. I remember when Steve Forbes ran, and he wanted to go back to the gold standard and all the media could do was say: isn’t that a wacky idea? aren’t you a nut to even think that?

There was no substance to it.

The media really is a failure operation now, they are failing in their constitutionally sanctioned role. We on the right feel that way and I know many on the left feel that way too, and we are all correct.
