Another recent claim is that an interceptor was in the air at the same time and shot down MH370.

What about the plane piece that was found in the ocean, and confirmed to be from this plane.

MH370 team searching ON THE GROUND with exact jungle location where ‘plane came down’

There's no such thing as a "jungle" any more, they're "rain forests" now.

It was flying to Beijing, so it would make sense for its crash site to be in Cambodia.

.
Airliners get shot down with great regularity these days, if the wrong person is aboard.

I can understand why looking for four year-old wreckage in the jungle from a helicopter using only your eyes could be a waste of time.

But what if the helicopter were part of a team to search the grid-square where the the sleuth says he saw wreckage in the satellite photo? Aircraft with down-looking radar should be able to ping the wreck, yes? A helicopter might do the same to confirm and lower a team in foot to investigate. Or guide a team already on foot to the site, if the canopy won’t allow an insertion.

Ideally, I think it would be a “combined specialties” operation where different air and ground assets work together.

What a hoax and a waste of time.

We all know it was swallowed by a black hole.

Ridiculous! Jungle = Trees. Planes hitting trees causes them to break apart on impact. This plane appears to be intact.

So, the photo can’t be REAL. I should say, photo is not that of a plane sitting there in the jungle or aliens are somehow involved. Someone speculated that it was a plane in flight. That seems more likely.

The new show “Manifest” is premiering soon. That plane lost 5 years between take off and landing. Maybe it’s something like that. /s

Tech expert Ian Wilson is to be airlifted to an area three miles from where he claims he has pinpointed the Malaysian Airlines flight using Google Maps.

...

Maybe he’ll run into Amelia Earhart while he’s there.

Days to walk there and alleged evidence half-a-world away. Maybe time for government or somebody to get in first, scoop it up and deposit it in the ocean with the alleged debris. Maybe a conspiracy theory or movie plot?

There are two things about this story that make no sense.

1. The plane is visible in google earth photos but can’t be seen by a search and rescue helicopter flying directly overhead? you need “boots on the ground” to see something that a satellite can see? Not.

2. The plane in the google earth photo is 100% intact. Did it land using a giant parachute?

Surely the google satellite took a photo that included a plane flying over the jungle, on the same path that MH370 was supposed to take. The people pushing this story must be aware of that but they’re going to milk it for all it’s worth.

So what about the several huge pieces of a 777 that have washed up on the east coast of Africa?

Since he claims to know the exact spot, then why can’t a helicopter drop him exactly on top of it?

Some of the pieces of debris positively identified from MH370 that was found washed up onto various Indian ocean beaches would have been essential to flight. It could not have just shaken them off and continued on to mainland Asia.

And the last time it had any electronic communications with the rest of thew world, the Rolls-Royce jet logged on to a maintenance company satellite above the northern Indian ocean. The satellite fixed the signal’s source as someplace several hundred miles off the west coast of Oz and a couple thousand miles south of Malaysia. At the time it would have been more than an hour overdue for arrival in Beijing and probably had about a thimble’s worth of fuel left.

But the Malaysians will be all over this because it casts doubt on the theory (and the only valid one) that one of their pilots took their airplane on a suicide joy ride.
