I saw it and Leventhal said he talked to the police who talked to “Family Dollar” that requested the police not to interfere or arrest the looters. Evidently, Family Dollar appears to need their store cleaned out and appreciate the looters doing the job for them for free.

WTF? I’m done with FD.

Some responses to the police Tweet are saying the looters needed supplies. Others are saying “Bullsh*t!”

Leventhal just reported it again, saying clearly it was FD who asked the police not to interfere. However, in response, Wilmington officials have extended the curfew hours.

The plan is probably for Family Dollar to file an insurance claim for all the stolen merchandise. But guess what...If they do then they can now get slapped with Fraud charges because they are now accomplices in the robbery.

Someone needs to contact the insurance company and make them aware of this.
