A majority of voters in Michigan support legalizing recreational marijuana, according to a new poll.

Results from a poll released by ClickOnDetroit on Tuesday show Michigan voters support the legalization of recreational marijuana by a margin of 56 percent to 38 percent, which the local station pointed out is a finding that has remained consistent in the state for the past two years.

According to the publication, the only voters who are sharply opposed to the legalization of recreational marijuana are those over the age of 65.

Not surprising at all.

Support for legalization will continue to increase until it enjoys majority support in every state across the country. The days of prohibition are numbered. There is no trend that demonstrates otherwise.

I believe in:
A constitutional republic under the Constitution and the Bill of Rights
Peace through strength
Government at the local level as much as possible
Welfare is state theft
Drug prohibition is useless, evil, and an excuse to steal our rights to privacy and to control us

So you’d be for legalizing oxycontin much less heroin and meth at the local 7/11?

We are still fighting over the same pros and cons as on the color 1967-1970 Dragnet episodes (which I own on DVD) where a young person says “Its doesn’t matter what you think. When we get old enough someday we’ll take over the legislatures and legalize drugs and you won’t be able to stop us.”

Doped up drivers weaving headon into your lane to hit you.
Drugged home invaders deciding to tie up, rape and torture your family. Kids who OD’d found dead on the bathroom floor. The already low desire to work a full week by young people playing video games diminished to “where’s my pipe?”
The wonderful world of Tim Leary.

Having worked as an investigator for a city attorney’s office and seeing how it works from the inside, legalize it and get rid of the legalized theft by government. You can’t get rid of it, far better to have it legal.

Far more people are killed using oxy and it is legally peddled by the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical companies hate legalization because they can’t control marijuana.

I paid the entitlements for generations since I was 18 by my taxes. Worked full time all these decades. Age 72.

I resent the lazy millennials who now will be too doped up to even addictively play their video games in mom’s basement, let alone work for a full week once in a while. Put down your dope and get to work.

To the Michigan pro drug socialists and Dems:
I live in Michigan and I hate you.

The only group who I ever supported legalization for.

You must hate President Trump, who has done more to facilitate legal pot in America than any POTUS, including the last one =>
