Report: Catholic Church Suffers ‘Culture of Denial’ of Homoclericalism
Breitbart ^ | Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D.

Posted on 09/16/2018 3:54:37 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

In a bracing October essay titled “Catholicism After 2018,” First Things editor Rusty Reno pinpoints an acceptance of a homosexual subculture in the Catholic clergy as the core issue underlying recent sex abuse scandals assailing the Catholic Church.

*snip*

Reno, who taught at a Jesuit University from 1990 until 2010, said that Jesuit novice masters during the 1970s “regarded homosexual relations as healthy, even necessary for proper priestly formation.”

“Sometimes the novice masters insisted that they be the agents of this “formation,” he said.

My thoughts exactly.

Although one of them did write my favorite hymn, which just goes to prove that God can use anyone as a vessel.

So it seems to me that this repressed homosexuality among priests led to the molestation of boys. They obviously couldn’t openly practice homosexuality.

Aren’t you Catholic bashing? Where is your proof?

The evidence suggests this homosexuality wasn't repressed. It was what led these homos to subvert the Church.

Their homo-nature was their driving force...and the Church was their target.

Easy prey and lots of money...and untold power.

It would seem that you are Catholic bashing—is that correct?

More abuse happens in non-Catholic churches than in the Catholic Church.

No. I am not bashing the Catholic Church. When the Pope is a left wing Homophilic, then the Catholic Church is now a homo organization! Facts are reality!!

A bad Pope does not make all Catholics bad. Why do you generalize that way?

I did not say all Catholics are bad. The Catholic Church is in the grasp of the “Anti-Pope” How do you propose to purge the Anti-Pope and his homo associates?

What about good priests (good is relative now, but I mean traditional morality that used to be always and everywhere) people and hierarchy who choose to stay? Do you believe they will share the same fate?

Am I?

Priests are molesting boys in alarming numbers and we know now there are many more gay priests than previously thought. Both facts have been covered up over many decades. Why wouldn’t I draw a connection?

I'm glad someone is saying this. The current priest scandal appears to be dominantly a case of pederasty - organized homosexual Hebephilia and Ephebophilia.

Pedophilia is pre-pubescent. Most of the victims are to old for this to be categorized as pedophilia.

All of the perpetrators are male. The vast majority of the victims are male.

The structure and the cover-up make this organized.

Here are rough definitions:

Chronophilia - a form of paraphilia in which an individual experiences sexual attraction limited to individuals of particular age ranges.
Ephebophilia is the primary sexual interest in mid-to-late adolescents, generally ages 15 to 19.
Hebephilia - the primary or exclusive adult sexual interest in pubescent individuals approximately 11-14 years old.
Pedophilia - a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children.
Pederasty - a homosexual relationship between an adult male and a pubescent or adolescent male.

There is no doubt while ephebophilia is considered a disorder, the late teenaged female has been stressed as a heterosexual ideal for beauty, female virtue, and female fertility for years. For centuries cultures have worshiped youthful beauty. The age of consent in many U.S states and many countries range from 12 to 18, with most being 16. "Romeo and Juliet" laws, designed to prevent older males from taking advantage of younger females are a relatively new development. The same ideal of youthful beauty exists in the homosexual community.

The truth is there are a large number of homosexual priests in the Catholic Church. Priestly celibacy has allowed closeted homosexuals to hide in plain site for centuries. There is also a history of teenage altar boys in the Catholic Church. The potential for grooming has been there for centuries.

I have no doubt something similar would have happened with heterosexual priests if they had access to a large number of teenage girls in private situations in the same way homosexual priests had access to a large number of male teenage altar boys.

I am not a Roman Catholic, but I think eliminating priestly celibacy, and ensuring altar boys are coed to include changing church canon to allow acolytes to be female would help reduce the risk of this problem in the future. Those are big changes, but I think long-term that is the only thing which can save the Catholic Church.

“The bishops of the Church, if they are serious about saving her, need to start getting rid of homosexual priests in their own dioceses.”

And the church needs to allow priests to marry.

I'm still waiting for Hal Lindsey to weigh in on this. I look at his show every weekend on YT and I have yet to see him comment on the pedopriests.
