I just don’t get the whole thing with “switchblades.”
Automatic openers are damn handy when the hand you normally would have to use opening your knife is busy holding whatever it is you need to cut.
Beyond that, I’m just plain mystified....
It’s just a handy tool. A fancy little letter-opener.
If you want a fighting knife, a Fairbairn-Sykes will fill the bill, and they aren’t much more pricey.
