Judge Kavanaugh ruled against the girl’s father and the property went into foreclosure. Friends and neighbors could have known, and some probably did, by one of two or three ways.

Over the next 4-5 months, the trustee worked with Mr Blasey and they reached an agreement that allowed the family to keep the property. The trustee filed to have the court dismiss and a different judge ruled to dismiss.

Those 4-5 months still let the family stew over Judge Kavanaugh’s ruling against them.

That’s the possible motive here. At least it’s a theory.
