American democracy may well be in crisis, but the American representative republic, which actually describes the form of government enshrined in the US Constitution and the existing statutes, is alive and working more or less the way it should.
“Democracy” is one of those terms that is a little slippery, changing in meaning depending on who is speaking and what characteristics they want to attach to it.
Mobs are “democracy”. All forms of socialism ae “democracy”. Almost every tyranny starts out as a “democracy”. Democracy in every one of its forms, ends up decaying beyond all recognition, all in the name of “the people”.
Our system is fine. Trump is President, you are not.

And she’s also calling for mob rule in the USA, which is what the leftists want, so things fall into shambles, at which time a leftist dictator takes over and liquidates any opposition...
