French defense minister questions U.S. commitment to NATO — here’s why she shouldn’t
Great Power War ^ | 9/17/18 | USA Features

Parly’s comment wasn’t entirely based on the president’s criticism of NATO. She is also keenly aware that the European continent’s defense industry is also not up to par, though individual member countries like Britain and Germany do produce weapon systems for export. And she’s right. But the notion that the Trump administration isn’t committed to NATO or European defense is nonsensical.

Here’s a radical idea. Maybe Europe should commit to European defense.

I’m questioning it.

Get the US out of NATO immediately.

Why is America standing guard over the globalist, Neo-marxist cultural destruction of Europe? Why are we paying to defend the EU’s social engineering schemes?

Those schemes are so expensive that most EU countries have joke armies. Here’s a quote from the link below. It reads like satire.

“There are so few German army helicopters available for the troops that pilots have been forced to train in bright yellow civilian choppers leased from the German Automobile Club.”

Certain countries have run ‘certain’ tariffs for years (maybe decades). The EU has the blessing of the 28 members to build one single tariff funnel and basically failed with TTIP negotiations with the US (back in the fall of 2016 before the election).

Why tariffs existed in the first place? You go and have two factories (one in France and one in Texas) manufacture a series of bicycle (same model, same wheels, same raw materials, same everything). In the end, the Texas bike will cost 30 percent less than the French bike. Chief reasons? Healthcare costs, utilities cost, taxation on the product, taxation on the stock-holders, property tax, and the cost of living upon French employees. So your resolution then is to make things ‘fair’ by creating a tariff which brings the pricing almost near each other.

Adding to this...NOT all products have tariffs. The US wasn’t buying steel from Italy or Greece....so there was no real need to tariff them, or vice versa. The problem here is that you need trade/commerce people at the table and talking over how this can work or be resolved. You don’t want bankers, politicians, or lawyers in the middle of this.

Western Europe is a feminist and Muslim run fascist toilet state not worth one drop of American blood or treasure. NATO is past its useful purpose. The Ruskies can have it.

The question has never really been, would the US defend Estonia. The question is, would France defend Estonia?

Its not about, will the US defend Montenegro? Its, will Germany fight to defend Montenegro?

Which is the beginning of the story and not the end. When the price goes up the Texas factory will add a second shift and gain greater market share. Also a factory in Michigan will now open up and get piece of the action. Prices will go down with more Americans working and not subsidizing the French.

EVERY OTHER COUNTRY UNDERSTANDS HOW TARIFFS WORK EXCEPT THE SO CALLED BUSINESS EXPERTS IN THE USA. WE have most ignorant myopic business people in the world. They are killing us.

Ditto. There should not be a NATO. Europe is committing suicide by Muslim. Why should US taxpayers pay for their defense?

Ditto, except for a few hand-picked countries like Poland and Hungary. Why expose NATO secrets to $h!thole countries who hate us and don’t pay their bills. Our military capabilities enable selective attacks and wars to protect our true friends, and not a contiguous region that include scumbag countries like Germany, France, and Britain.
