It was mid-May, about six weeks after Trump appointee Mari Stull began her new job as senior adviser at the State Department’s Bureau of International Organization Affairs.
As senior adviser at the bureau, Stull was in charge of making sure President Trump’s agenda was represented at the many international organizations the U.S. participates in and mostly funds, such as the United Nations and its various agencies.
Stull and her boss, Amb. Kevin Moley, had just left for a trip to Geneva for the World Health Assembly. Back at the State Department, Erin Barclay, a senior career diplomat at the IO Bureau, invited more than ten civil servants within the bureau to a lunch meeting.
At the meeting, Molly Phee, another senior career diplomat, went around the table and asked each civil servant for complaints about Stull and took notes. Another senior career diplomat in the IO bureau, Nerissa Cook, was also there. One civil servant who participated in the meeting would later say the meeting felt uncomfortable, and that there was pressure to say something.

When being stupid makes you think you’re smart, it’s likely you end up working at the State Department brainwashed by anti-Americans to undermine your own country.
Prediction: There will be no indictments of the deep staters.
It is all very interesting. However nothing will come of it unless there are indictments, arrests, trials and the criminals start to talk to avoid prison. Think that Obama got a bit nervous recently but suspect that even now there are enormous efforts and swamp collusion to prevent actual arrests. Not to be melodramatic but the future of America may be at stake. The Democrat/globalists will do all, that is virtually everything and anything, to squash this investigation lest they lose power. If they get a grip on power the American nation and culture will be transformed into the globalist abomination that Obama tried to impose. His ilk will never stop trying.
I remember shortly after Trump won Newt talking about these issues arising. I don’t think anyone thought his first two foreign calls would be printed in the WaPo within a week, but it’s a live war. I have felt the Flynn situation really gave them great confidence...it was too easy. I’ve been clamoring for compliance Czars or something equivalent...I wonder how many of the regulation cuts actually made it...who knows.
We have been under that transformation since George HW Bush told US we were joining the New World Order.
Flooding the country with Spanish speaking people wasn’t accidental.
Treaties to tie US down to the UN were not accidental.
GHWB, WJC, GWB, BHO, same open borders, same globalist policies.
We were not supposed to be able to elect a President who put America first.
They had arranged it so we couldn’t until somebody with the money and fame came along to rescue US.
That’s why they hate him so intensely.

The Bush family became enormously wealthy colluding with the vile Saudis. The Bush family of course called it the “oil business” However historians one day will correctly judge them. After 9/11 and Bush knew full well that it was the bizarre medieval Islamic Wahhabi that inspired the 9/11 terrorists and that the corrupt Saudi regime knew of the planned attack but did nothing. Bush failed hold the Saudis accountable but instead began chanting that Islam was the “religion of peace” and attacked instead Saddam’s Iraq which was a prime threat to the Saudi regime. Bush can never be forgiven for the 6,000 dead, the tens of thousands more who have been physically and psychologically maimed and the trillions squandered. He confused the American people and corrupted the Republican Party. His stupidity more than anything made the disastrous Presidency of Obama possible. Bush expanded and deepened the swamp especially within the State Department that Clinton had corrupted so well. Obama went on to transform the Federal bureaucracy into a veritable globalist fortress. The interests American people are no longer served by the Federal institutions they have established and pay taxes to support.
Face it. The future of America is not secure. There no longer exists a common reasonable social or political consensus. It will take a leader far smarter and politically sophisticated than Trump to repair and revitalize the American nation.

As usual, you are right.
Those who think this is all going according to The Plan (and pass the popcorn) do not know much about human nature or world history.
They should all be glad their surnames are not Flynn, Page, Caputo, Manafort, Cohen, or Papadopoulos. Whether they have committed crimes or not, their rights have been trampled, and they have been denied due process.
I voted for Trump, and he has done some amazing things - but I am glad I did not hold a high post in his campaign. Those people are meat on the table for the Deep State.
I do not see the political will to establish Constitutional Rule of Law in Washington, D.C., and that deeply concerns me.
I think in the end we may see the way things are done cleaned up some - and then they will just move on.
