This is actually one of the sad points about being queer. Homosexuality dotes on youth and vitality; once you've reached that age where you're no longer strong or particularly attractive, you end up very much "unloved" (not that genuine love was ever part of it).

Unless you have money to spread around. A big check book in old age can buy as much ‘love’ in the queer community as a big d..k can when you’re younger. Most homosexual men have very expensive tastes and are willing to prostitute themselves to have nice things even if it means spending time with a wrinkled up old prune.
