My daughter used to work at a bookstore in a very liberal city. (she was easily the only conservative in the pit of vipers) She managed the children’s section and stayed out of the fray.
She said the liberals would dutifully line up like penguins at the zoo during feeding time to plunk their money down to show their virtue whenever some idiotic liberal must have book came out.
Lots of sales till the next zookeeper dangles a dead fish, but I highly suspect few are actually read.

Exactly. These endless slam Trump “books” are nothing more than vehicles for money laundering.
I came to the conclusion awhile ago that the book advances and royalties paid to the anti-Trump smear mongers via “books” are almost certainly funded by Soros behind the scenes.
And this is how the deep state network operates. Fall on your sword, or get caught, and money will be laundered to you in spades via “a book deal”, or “speaking fees”, or some cush job on Wall Street. Really, this is no different than Hamas paying off a family of a suicide bomber.
Most people tend to agree that the publishing ‘racket’ in the past fifty years....has developed into a game where you own other companies, and use their ‘profits’ to support your book empire. Like you say....various books end up in the bargain bin for $4.
I just can’t imagine more than 40,000 people really having an interest to read over Andrew McCabe. I wouldn’t offer him more than $75k for a book deal.
