There is a three-or four-cornered war going on in Syria, with the Syrians alternating between teaming up with Iran against the Russians, the Russians teaming up with the Syrians against Iran, the interjection of the Israelis into the war zone, and also the presence of Turkey, which for now is not in active participation of much except the suppression of the Kurds.
