I like it...
Top it off with hanging two really big brass balls over the main gate.

If they will take an 80+ year old, I’ll go. Spent some time there years back; loved the place.

Of all the European countries to place a military installation, Poland would be my first choice!!

Do it and move every soldier out of Germany to Poland.

I think this is a GREAT idea. Remember Kosciuszko and Pulaski. They contributed significantly to the success of our revolution.

and theyre paying for it! Unlike the effing krauts.. Germany does not charge the U.S. for the bases that our Army uses in their country, and provides some money to offset the costs.
Instead of going to Poland, rename Fort Drum to Fort Trump and move the troops to New York.
To: tcrlaf
Yes...Fort Donald J. Trump...

HeH - could you see how the US media would make their reports - "Today, troops were deployed to
THAT base in Poland...." as they rolled their eyes and made sourpuss expressions.

Have any other countries asked for a military base in their country, nevermind offer to pay for part of it?
Not that I believe we should have any overseas bases.
