These are documents have all been requested by congress and t6hrough FOA. Trump is merely trying to speed distribution up and make sure that redaction is kept to an absolute minimum.

Trump should March over to the DOJ and demand that the documents he constitutionally de-classified be handed over to him immediately. He should then take them to Devin Nunes as per Congressional oversight responsibility. He should then return to the White House and advise the American people what he’s done and why with emphasis on the words “corruption” and “constitutional”.
Why would he inflame anything if they have nothing to hide?

So it’s Ok for CNN, New York Times, etc., to get leaks of classified information but it’s not ok for the PRESIDENT to declassify and release on his own?

OMG, PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS DECLASSIFIED DOCS ABOUT RUSSIA.
This is the worst possible thing in the whole saga of the Russian collusion story. Everything else up to this point was just meaningless. BUT, releasing the docs is horrible to Laurie Jarret (cough, cough) and the other three dips who should start their own reality show. Journalists, unite and conquer.

If Trump was in real trouble, declassifying documents would be DETRIMENTAL to his position. So the Dems have exposed their fears.
