Collins is walking a fine line. the left (democrats have been threatening her. if she does decide to oppose kav, it sends a signal that she can be successfully threatened, which means that the threats will come more and more whenever a close controversial vote nears. her only hope is to confirm kav, to let the left know that she cannot be cowed.
I really hope that Grassley and the turtle call off the Mon hearing.
If Grassley is willing to go to CA and the accuser still won’t testify, that should give him enough cover to cancel the Mon hearing. What’s the sense of Cavenaugh testifying again when he has no accuser to respond to?

I suggested DiFi should be thrown in prison for this awful stunt Recently she’s said she can’t vouch for the Ford claim. And it’s been widely published that DiFi’s publication of said claim was somehow accidental. ( I can’t imagine how that could be). But at least DIFi is backtracking
