So sorry, but the Husky has to be put down. Once a dog's had a chicken, it's all over. I feel quite badly for all involved...but ...we had a goose once. Gordon was his name. Had to send him down to hubby's uncle's place by the river, seems Gordon was one mean guard goose. I had to fight him off more than once, but when he started going after our toddler boys, that was it. I threatened to get out the Goose-Be-Gone (Winchester 18??), so hubby moved him.

All that being said, I feel sorry for the dog owner, but this is all her fault. Even in the country, you have to control your animals.

it’s not the taste, it that they are prey. This is not learned behavior. The Husky is in no more need of killing now than it did when it woke up that morning.

I’ve yet to encounter a nice goose or one that didn’t charge after people. They are some mean birds.
