According to Breitbart. I've seen it stated "under the age of 17" elsewhere.

17 is legal in Texas. I expect she must be younger than 17, or they would have no case.

Breitbart is misreporting the age while linking to the court documents that clearly state “juvenile female under the age of 17”.

They are being stupid or mendacious, maybe stupidly mendacious.
