Embattled is a term leftists use whenever a Republican is accused of something..when its a Dem accused of something the headline is “Nominee fights back against bogus charges”

The word they’re looking for, here, is “slandered”. Maybe “libeled”. But they won’t use that word, because they’re part of the slander machine.

Partner, this is a "Classic Line". Loved it & loved the movie, since my kids used to watch this movie.
