Even though young Mr. Kaskey may still favor "sensible" gun control kudos to him for his intellectual honesty in showing a willingness to listen to other views and admit he doesn't know it all, an extremely rare commodity among libs, especially those just coming of age (G-D knows I was a know-it-all lib, before I came to my senses by the time I was a senior in HS) who have all the answers, but don't understand the questions. People like Cameron need to hang out at a range, it could be a, I HATE this smarmy phrase, TEACHABLE MOMENT for him. He also needs to realize he and his peers are being used and exploited by a bunch of opprtunisitc ghouls who, with SoreASS and/or DNC $$$ been exploiting the Parkland tragedy for all it's worth since the bodies hit the floor and bled out. And how ironic that members of march for our lives and BLM are such butt buddies. Considering how Hoggy and his skinheaded sidekick have been defending one of the most corrupt cops around, COWARD Cty Sheriff Israel. (what an ironic name since he's friends with the terrorists at the Miami chapter of CAIR. MAybe the next time the Palis and the ragheads take to the streets shouting DEATH TO ISRAEL, he should take that to heart), but I digress.

Honestly, I try to be reasoned, but I cannot for the life of me see how a Democrat can stand to look at themselves after backing the things they do.

I'm very regretful of a lot of the mistakes that I've made along the way. One of the things I never really did was watch myself. If I was on a screen I kind of tried to run away from it. I'm not entirely sure why. But, looking back on that it's like you said, you touched off on this very well in the intro, I'm not going to kick myself for it because I'm 17. Despite the fact that I thought I did at the time, I don't know everything. But, I look back on that and I say, you know what, there were people who had just been buried and when you're looking at somebody that you find might in some way have been complicit in this murderer obtaining the weapon it's hard not to say something like that. But, I went into that wanting less conversation and more to embarrass Rubio and that was my biggest flaw.

These comments are a sign he may be growing up. We were very critical of the way he behaved and the vicious things he said at the time. It was not an honest debate - and he admits he was just trying to humiliate and embarrass people he disagreed with rather than have an actual discussion and he states he regrets it. If this is sincere, I certainly think more highly of him in the personal sense. Changing his mind on the issues and how best to address them can come later...growing up and learning to not try to ruin people simply because you disagree with them is a good first step.
