Of course, these charges come out of Travis County, Texas, which has been a liberal cesspool for decades? The former DA in that county was Ronnie Earl, who prosecuted/persecuted such GOP luminaries as Kay Bailey Hutchison and Tom DeLay. His successor was Rosemary Lehmberg, who was convicted of a drunk driving charge in 2013. Later, the District Attorney's Office charged then Governor Rick Perry for abusing his authority in part for demanding Lehmberg's resignation.
Travis County is essentially a mini Bay Area, Cook County, or New York City infesting Central Texas. I trust nothing coming out of the DA's office there.
Did Wilson pick the girl up at the coffee shop on South Congress and drive her to the Archer Hotel, and then drop her off at the Whataburger on W. Slaughter?
All of that would be in Travis County.
