Rex Tillerson of Exxon fame was a big
oil guy. What changed him was Exxon's acquisition of a
huge portfolio of natural gas resources which Exxon pretty much just lucked into.
Tillerson figured that "global warming" was a good way to market natural gas. So overnight Tillerson went over to the other side and became a "global warming greenie". It was cynical as hell. It was a marketing ploy to peddle natural gas.
