Beto O’Rourke to Black American: Illegal Immigrant Labor Needed for Cotton Gin
Breitbart ^ | September 19, 2018 | John Binder

Posted on 09/20/2018 1:44:41 PM PDT by gattaca

...BLACK AMERICAN: My question is, do you support granting citizenship and American-paid benefits to illegal aliens who violated our country to come here, who fly their foreign flags here, who have citizenship in their countries and whose families did absolutely not build this country, while black people are subject to things that you explained before? You can answer yes or no, please. [Emphasis added]

O’Rourke’s remarks were made after a black American asked the congressman if he supported illegal aliens being given U.S. citizenship despite breaking the country’s immigration laws. O’Rourke responded by saying that it is illegal aliens who are working at cotton gins today.

As long as he doesn’t “monkey around,” Beto will be safe for November 6.

Well, even a “dummie” deserves representation, to paraphrase the late Roman Hruska, senator from NE.

I didn’t know Gin could be made using cotton. Does that mellow the Juniper?

Question: Was he wearing a dress when he said this?

As a bogtrotter playing a Hispanic, maybe we could call him a Bispanic.

Its cotton harvesting time in Texas. Gins are hiring for the harvest. It is just seasonal work. I have seen ads locally on Craigslist. There are a couple of gins nearby in Navarro County.

Beta's belief is that only illegal aliens will do the soul crushing work of processing raw cotton no matter how high the wages are. The slaves of the past are now taken care of by welfare.

Beto, the gift that keeps giving. Ted Cruz is a very lucky man indeed. This is not even going to be close. Cruz will CRUSH this joker come November.

I suspect TX is similar to GA. hundreds of thousands of new voters, not from Mexico, but from jobless Northern Cities ... and no Republican, no Conservative is reaching out to them.

The result is that they bring their northern city voting patterns to TX {and GA}. Nobody is asking them to ponder why are the no jobs in northern cities and plenty of jobs in TX, GA and the red south. We will get what we deserve.

This is what a Texas Cotton Gin looks like in Texas these days. You would probably need skilled workers to run it, rather than a slave turning a crank.

Native Texan here — There is a Federal Migrant program that has been in existence for many decades that utilizes migrant workers who travel all across the USA in the season for picking cotton, fruit, vegetables, dairy, etc. It is HUGE. Every migrant worker has a green card allowing them to perform their work. I was involved in the public education end of all these things. It was my responsibility at one time to help track all the children of these migrant workers who must also travel with their parents. We worked across state lines helping these students have a consistent education, as well as tracking health records. I have not been involved since the early 90s. Today, even the service industry (that has been booming in Texas) has made the choice of using undocumented workers in order to pay a slave wage. I seriously doubt many of these ranchers needing their cotton picked or processed at a gin can afford the fines and prosecution that goes along with hiring these workers. Perhaps they do..... but neither Party seems insistent on standing up to employers paying workers under the table. Shameful.

The black guy asked a smart, sensible question about illegal immigration affecting African Americans who built this country, and the crowd didn’t react well. O’Rourke was polite but launched into his cotton gun story. He also does his best to imitate Obama in speaking style, mannerisms and cadence which is just annoying as hell.

“Beto O’Rourke to Black American: Illegal Immigrant Labor Needed for Cotton Gin . . . . I haven’t got a clue what the hell that means.”

It means what it says: illegals are the new slaves. They are imported to exploit them as cheap labor.

They are kept as a permanent underclass by hindering their ability to learn English. The constant supply means they can never demand higher wages or better conditions because someone new will be imported to keep their costs down.

The main people hurt by these unreasonably cheap wages are the people at the bottom of the pecking order: blacks, legal Hispanics, and, of course, new illegal immigrants.

He just admitted the scam. It’s why the richest elites (both parties) like them to come — cheap, exploitable, labor.
