Christine Blasey Ford's legal team has asked the Senate Judiciary Committee to agree to certain terms before she sits down for a potential interview over her accusation that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her, two sources told Fox News on Thursday night.
Among the terms: Only members of the committee -- no lawyers -- can question her; Kavanaugh cannot be in the room at the time; and Kavanaugh must be questioned first.

I don’t believe he’ll be as easily blackmailed as Roberts. Roberts knows he on the hook until his kids reach 18. This is all on Kavanaugh, not on his family. The damage to his family has already been done.
Cruz is up for re-election against Beto. He’s ahead of Beto but you never know if the margin is large enough for him to alienate voters by destroying her and her story.

Hmmm...the Watergate committee had an attorney on the committee in addition to the Senators (Sam Dash). I’m trying to remember if there was an attorney on the judiciary committee for Anita Hill/Clarence Thomas. Was there for Kavanaugh? I just caught the highlights, not the whole hearing.
I guess Sam Dash was the attorney for the committee (appointed by Sam Ervin?). I don’t think Nixon could get an attorney on the committee even if he wanted one. Maybe Baker could, maybe not.

The important thing from that article isn’t that the guys look alike. It’s that none of the people supposedly there live close enough to the Country Club where she says the party was to consider it a relevant landmark.
