Since this is a hearing and not a criminal trial, she can probably get away with not having Kavanaugh in the room (but she shouldn’t), but there is no way that he should go first. If they choose that as their excuse to not participate, I won’t be surprised.

At this point, I know the US is definitely perishing from within. When an obscure, unknown woman can make charges against anyone and paralyze the legal functioning of our government, without showing her face and coming forward so that everyone can hear what she has to say, she has been able to weaponized herself and put every single man, woman and child in jeopardy of injustice in ways we have never known here. This is different than the Clarence Thomas case in many respects. Will the old White men on that committee allow this to go on for the sake of the next election?
