[I personally think that about the time that the two witnesses in Revelation are slain by the AC and their bodies are put on display for three days as the world parties that that will be the last window when some, who have never taken the MotB of course, to realize what’s happening and repent. They will probably quite literally be the very last people who ever could or ever would repent in Christ’s name in this age if the Lord didn’t quickly act in judgment at that point, and so the possible expediency that Paul wrote of is no longer expedient ... and Christ returns.]

Close regarding the MoTB. It occurs mid-point of that 7-year period. When the abomination comes. This is also, IMHO, when the Two Witnesses are killed (mid-point). Now there is an (3rd) angel warning not to take the Mark of the Beast in Revelation 14. There is also an (1st) angel preaching the Gospel. Obviously some will refuse the MoTB, to their death, but to their eternal lives (Revelation 20 if memory serves). And a (2nd) angel preaches Babylon is fallen.

Regardless, good to know you’re reading Scripture and watching the Signs of the Times.

Revelation 14:6-11 King James Version (KJV)

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 20:4 King James Version (KJV)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Why do you like the KJV?

I like NRSV.
