Mark Levin: Don’t Fire Rod Rosenstein; New York Times Article May Be a Setup
Breitbart ^ | September 21,2018 | Mark Levin

Posted on 09/21/2018 5:03:00 PM PDT by Hojczyk

Radio host Mark Levin warned fellow conservatives on Friday evening that they should not rush to conclusions about the New York Times‘ latest story alleging that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had plotted against President Donald Trump.

He warned that Trump’s enemies might be trying to goad him into firing Rosenstein before the midterm elections by leaking information from memoranda created by former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who was fired in March for lying.

In addition, Levin cautioned conservatives to consider why the Times — with its record of inaccurate reporting on the Trump administration — would have wanted to expose a threat to Trump. He pointed out several left-wing canards in the article, such as the claim that Trump had asked former FBI director James Comey to end the investigation of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

Levin suggested that McCabe, or Mueller — or Mueller’s deputy, Andrew Weismann — had clear motives to leak the claims about Rosenstein to the Times — claims that were tellingly absent from Lisa Page’s contemporaneous notes about the meetings.

“They have absolutely nothing on the President of the United States. They are trying to push their agenda. They are there for one reason and one reason only — to write the report in hopes of impeaching the president with a Democrat Congress,” Levin said.

“The Special Counsel’s office … would like nothing more than the President of the United States to fire Rosenstein to claim that he is truly obstructing an investigation, trying to influence their investigation, and then write it up as, effectively, as in Watergate, a ‘Saturday Night Massacre’ of sorts.

“In other words, it’s a setup of the president,” Levin concluded, adding: “The president must not fire Rosenstein, certainly not prior to the midterm election. That’s what they want.”

It is completely out of character for the Slimes, but McCabe was the one who got his ass canned, while Rosenstein got the promotion. He’s pissed

Levin is right. I’ve been saying months that Mueller has such a losing hand here, he’s probably begging to be fired — or euthanized — just to give him an excuse to call the whole thing an obstruction of justice.

If you actually heard Mark’s commentary on this, I think you may have a different opinion.

Rosenrosen was “Forced” to write the Comey dismissal, Rosenarnold was pressured again, this time by McCabe to appoint Mueller. An appointment that Rosenretool thought would relieve him of responsibility.

Rosenregret has an out.

The entire NYT article was bunk. All of these memos are designed to hurt Trump and those around him and the narrative is always the same. There doesn’t have to be anything more than the fake news smearing Trump again and this latest one hits all their talking points for the weekend.

Consider the source: Andy McCabe has a LOT of reasons to lie and pull others down, as he said he would do.

Consider the channel: The New York Times will say/print anything that damages or diminishes President Trump.

Consider the motive: How does goading Trump into firing Rosenstein help the left? Since they want it so badly, they must view it as a trigger for something else - 25th amendment perhaps? Whatever their motive is, we can be assured that it is not in Trump’s best interest.

...if the GOP keeps the house, then fire the prick...

After the elections, Trump must immediately start the purges.

That will be true even if the Democrats take the House. Especially if Democrats take the House. President Trump would literally have no pathway to survival in that circumstance and would be best off to just burn it all down.

And when the Republics hold the House and Senate, there is no longer any reason to delay the purges. It has been two years already, for actions that should have started on February 1, 2016.

In any case, let's get on with it.

Joe DiGenova and wife/partner Victoria Toensing noted that RR’s denial did not specifically deny these actions. “Incorrect”, “factually inaccurate” ....”there is no basis.”

Ahhh, he’s a victim like Sessions. Not a co-conspirator...Should I feel sorry for him? /sarc

That’s why both rosenstein and sessions have tendered their resignations. The shame of being bullied into this coup conspiracy was just too much for them to bear /sarc.

I find it very interesting that at the same time this NYT piece comes out, Trump has backed off, slightly, from his declassification order.

Trump is going to allow these Deep-State actors to eat each other alive.

The entire thing is entering a self preservation mode.

Have to totally disagree with Levin here. He is flat out wrong. The President has no option but to fire Rosenstein within the next 24 hours. Failure to do so will put in question who exactly is in charge of the executive branch of government. Does the DOJ report to the President or the other way around because it's getting really hard to tell.

The Deep state is defying this Presidents every action. He ordered declassification of documents and they are openly delaying and discussing ignoring the order. The AG is utterly Awol. The Deputy AG signed off on known fraudulent FISA warrant requests yet he is still calling the shots at the DOJ. Rosenstein should be under indictment already not collecting a government paycheck and plotting to remove the duly elected President.

The President needs to get out the hammer and hit every nail in sight and there is a bunch. Why in the world wait until after the elections which may well result in a loss of the congress. Does Levin think it's going to look good if the republicans lose congress and THEN the President starts firing Rosenstein and other? That's crazy. Mark is really in the weeds here.

Probably about $50 Billion being spent and all balls out, every aspect planned and schemed and topped off with bloody Satanic sacrifices to destroy Trump. Don't believe a damned thing the Papers put out, or the Dems, or ....

Never rush into things like this...

no story is bigger than everything else...yet it keeps getting swamped by KavanaughKavanaughKavanaugh, which is just what the Dems/FakeNewsMSM/Deep State want.

TWEET: 21 Sept: George Papadopolous: The British and Australian governments’ attempt to sabotage the Trump campaign is about to backfire in a spectacular fashion…

TWEET: 21 Sept: George Papadopolous: The day that BRITISH intelligence source, Stefan Halper, lured me to London so that the British MI6 could spy on the campaign, the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited me to their offices to talk about Trump and what a threat him supporting Breexit was.

17 Sept: Spectator Australia: Tinker, tailor, Downer, spy?
by David Long
Papadopoulos says he doesn’t remember saying anything to Downer about Russia. Downer is reported as saying now that they only had a single drink and a brief discussion. After that discussion, Downer reported back to Australia and that information was conveyed to the FBI, presumably at the insistence of prime minister Malcolm Turnbull…

And ratting to the FBI on the future President of the USA with false information might just be the reason that Malcolm Turnbull got such a swift kick in the balls from Trump during that first telephone call.

In one report, Downer, possessed of Papadopoulos’s information, passed it on to ***Elizabeth Dibble at the US London embassy. According to Fairfax, Downer passed the information back to Australian authorities who then passed it along to their American counterparts. And it is reported, that Downer told The Australian that he had sent an official cable about what was said to Canberra within a couple of days of the meeting with Papadopoulos…

It is highly probable that Downer did both” ratted to Elizabeth Dibble and sent a cable to Canberra. But Canberra is also reputed to have informed the FBI and that would not have happened, if it did, without the knowledge of Malcolm Turnbull…

The question that raises, however, is, whether Downer was authorised by the Commonwealth government to make that contact, or whether it was a freelance job?

We don’t know, do we, because no one has bothered to make him give sworn evidence or has asked the Australian government whether the contact was part of Downer’s brief. It’s moments like this that you wish our Senators interests went a little bit further than their parochial back fence. Such an enquiry would probably help to repair the relationship between the US President and Australia that Downer’s actions jeopardised.

“Why in the world wait until after the elections which may well result in a loss of the congress. “

Exactly. Trump’s hand isn’t going to get any stronger after the elections, imo. It’s always something to delay action against the corrupt state. Don’t fire rosenstein, mueller or sessions. Don’t declassify docs...Meanwhile the corrupt state is moving in for the kill.

If it's a setup, the NY Times will have to admit to publishing false information (how unusual), but not many organizations who claim to live on their creditability would purposely take a hit to get DjT.

..or would they?

Rosenstein, sessions and mueller should have fired over a year ago. That’s not rushing, that’s delaying the inevitable.

Listen, I get it.

Just step back and consider that Rosendrone has been squeezed into a position that is finally coming to a head.

I’m no fan of the nutless cake eater, but he has now been put into a position of either declaring his Anti-Trump Deep State intentions or coming clean.

Very interesting. So Levin might be tugging on the last string. He is suggesting that he stabbed Comey in the back. That could be true on many fronts. Comey was the designated fall guy. McCabe would then be in complete control, especially if he has some kind of blackmail dirt on Sessions. Hmmm. It looks like McCabe was the closest one yet to “Mr. Big”, whoever that is. I don’t think it is Obama. I think it is whoever is controlling him.

The NYT would never have reported this if they thought it would help Trump . We should tread lightly until we know from who this info was leaked . JMHO
