That’s my position, too. The base would be fired up for the midterm elections if Trump brought the hammer down on some of these deep-state bastards. Damn the impeachment torpedoes, lower the guns to deck level and load with grape shot.

I too think that the base would be fired up if the hammer came down before the election. Trump has said that he is being advised to wait.
