I thought Kennedy said he wouldn’t step down until his successor was named. Right now he doesn’t have a named successor.
You know what I wish? I wish Anthony Kennedy says he will change his judicial rulings to adhere to Justice Thomas’s until Kavanaugh is approved. Would be a great smackdown to the liberals.
Justice Kennedy is on “senior status,” and is still available for part-time duty on lower federal courts, but he’s gone for good from SCOTUS.
